History
Normal Heights, one of San Diego's older neighborhoods, was nothing more than an empty field populated with rabbits. NH was originally developed in 1906 and led by the Normal Heights Syndicate, D.C. Collier, whose portrait now adorns our walls.
This neighborhood has a strong sense of community. When the 1985 fires destroyed many homes nearby, the community banded together to provide support and house the displaced victims. These heartfelt acts earned San Diego the title of "All-American City" that year.
People are proud to live in Normal Heights and we embrace the spirit of the neighborhood and combine it with a passion for great grub, delicious cocktails, and warm, welcoming service. We aim to set the bar high with an experience unlike anything else in the area, while still providing the personable, friendly experience you expect from a high-energy local bar and restaurant.
